Yesterday’s Opening Plenary Session featured a panel moderated by President Clinton and remarks by President Obama. The key word from this session was “how.” Clinton set the frame for these meetings by stating, “This whole initiative is in the how business,” suggesting that #cgi09 (as it is known on Twitter) will go [...] The Opening Plenary Session at the 5th Annual Clinton Global Initiative is about to begin. I somehow managed to snag a spot at the front of the print press line, so I am all set. Credits are rolling and the event is underway. |
I am an Associate in the Poverty, Gender and Youth Program at the Population Council and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Global Public Health in the New York University Master's Program in Global Public Health.
